PLEASE READ - SPAMMER INFO : Hi, all. I know that there's been an increasing problem with spammers on the site, and it's gotten very bad. It was just annoying when it was some comments here and there, but now the spammers have found a way to infiltrate the voting system, and I'm receiving hundreds of spam story submissions daily on the backend, too. Unfortunately (and wouldn't you know it), because of the spam problems, the software that I built the site on has been discontinued. The platform that has taken its place doesn't yet have all of the bells and whistles that I'd like to have (mainly the favorites module, though I think there may be something that I can work with), but I'm thinking of switching over anyway because the situation has become so frustrating. I also want to make sure that the good information can be transferred over without any loss of data. My goal is to get back to a place where I'm not dealing with a losing battle against spammers and can actively post real crafty links again. I'm trying to clean up the database before I install the new software (or at least trying to get as on top of the problems as I can), and the site may look unlike itself until I get the Craftig template working on the new platform, but I think that we'll all agree that it will be nice not to have to deal with all of this spam anymore.
